
File Mapping
File mapping establishes associations between sets of file names. File
mapping allows you to supply filenames to the outside world without revealing
the internal file structure of the server. Most Web URLs are either wholly or
partly aliases generated by file mapping to protect the underlying file system
of the Web server.
